I was thinking about joining this year's ProcJam until I realized that it only runs for about a week. I can't work that fast! 😅

But maybe next year.... 🗓️

I like their easy going, noncompetitive approach, though: reminds me of Yuri Jam and Trans Gal Jam. And there is a procedural generation tool I really want to make for a GB Studio project one of these days~ 🗺️

I'm curious to know how Comradery.co has been working out for you?

It's good! they are supposed to be going to open beta soon. (They've been trying to fix an error with new accounts recently, which is annoying but they are keeping us updated on fixing it & are really good at answering questions if stuff comes up)
The website is really barebones (like people can't comment on the posts, & you can't host anything on it) but the subscription & payment processing has been working fine for me for about a year- I just link subscribers to a Google drive folder when I post stuff. I think having a viable patreon alternative is really important so I don't mind that it's kind of clunky to use.
I think patreon probably is easier to use & would have more reach, but you could do both! I only haven't out laziness.

Someone from Comradery contacted me years ago and since then I've been very curious about the platform. I really like the idea of a co-op alternative to Patreon, although at the time I was a little worried as I couldn't find any info on who was running it.

I'm glad to hear it is still going and working out for people! If I get to the point where I'm producing content fast enough I will definitely look into it again
